Donald Ross.
Born in Ross-shire, Scotland, and brought up in a godly atmosphere, he was saved in mid teens. Early service was with the North-East Coast Mission but due to difficulties he and others had the conviction that they should separate from the mission and depend on God alone for supplies. The book gives details of places of labour in Scotland, United States and Canada.

The Pioneer Series
This series consists of nine books. The first eight being reprints of early pioneers who laboured faithfully for the Lord, the last, Frank Knox was called home in 1975. The books are all interesting, informative and inspiring. Often, in adverse conditions, they worked on and souls were saved. Some of their experiences and methods were unique and so different to what would be acceptable today. Truth is often stranger than fiction. None of these books is fiction.
