The same undulating hills and valleys, where we are told Joseph's father regularly and resolutely walked his children, became in tun Alan's playground also. This little publication is not meant to be 'the last word' on Joseph Scriven. Rather it is meant to give an easy access, for the benefit of those who, like the author, wish to have in one little volume, a Banbridge man's story deservedly made known, and the Saviour he served thus glorified thereby.
