We are not left to our own imagination regarding the future. God, who brought the world into being, has revealed His plan and purpose for it.
Commentaries on the Apocalypse are legion, but this book is different. The author ensures a practical application of the Revelation throughout rather than treating it merely as an eschatological work.
Many Christians have lost the promised blessing associated with the book of Revelation through neglect. It is the prayer of the author (and reviser) that this book will inspire some to look again at the Book of Revelation, the culmination to the marvellous library we call the Bible.
Samuel W. Jennings was commended to full-time service in the Lord's work in 1969. His labours often took him out of his beloved Northern Ireland to other parts of the UK, Canada, the USA and the West Indies. Today, he is one of the few nonagenarians still active in the preaching of the gospel and the teaching of the Scriptures - even by Zoom during lockdown! Mr. Jennings has also authored a number of books, the most recent being The Jew, the Gentile and the Church of God in Prophecy. It, too, his a hardback and an ideal companion to this revised volume.
Alan McIlwaine commenced writing articles of a legal nature in periodicals during the late 1970s. He, too, has authored a number of books in addition to editing and publishing others.
