Messages by G. Campbell Morgan 1910-1913 Held annually on the picturesque shores of Winona Lake, Indiana, The Winona Lake Bible Conferences featured a “who’s who” of prominent Christian speakers. Founded in 1895, they quickly became a key destination for believers, attracting thousands of visitors annually. The meetings offered relevant biblical teaching along with intellectual enrichment. These conferences featured prominent Bible teachers, including: Billy Sunday, R.A. Torrey, H.A. Ironside, G. Campbell Morgan, F.B. Meyer, and J. Wilbur Chapman. They were a focal point for the spread of fundamentalist Christian thought, and their legacy remains significant in shaping evangelical movements in the U.S.A. and beyond. This series of publications brings a selection of messages given at the Winona Lake conferences by some of the the best of the teaching from some of these prominent servants of the Lord who were mightily used. Their biblical and Christ-centred teaching is as relevant to believers today as it was then. G. Campbell Morgan (1863-1945) pastor, author and itinerant evangelist was born in Tetbury, Gloucestershire. He preached his first sermon at age thirteen, setting the pattern for a life of teaching and preaching the word of God. Famous for his extraordinary Bible teaching, he was known as the “prince of expositors.” He pastored the Westminster Chapel during both world wars and, latterly, had Lloyd-Jones as his associate and eventual successor. He was called home at eighty-one years of age, leaving behind sixty-seven years of preaching his Lord and His word.
