The land of Israel is a modern miracle. Seeing God's promises, which were written down in the Bible thousands of years ago, being fulfilled in our lifetimes, is one of the greatest evidences that there is a God, and that the Bible is the Word of God. The regathering of the Jewish people to their ancient homeland, the rebirth of the nation of Israel, the revival of Hebrew as a living language, these are just a few of the promises that have come to pass in recent times. Being able to visit Israel and to see where so many of the events recorded in the Bible took place is also a testimony to the reliability of the Scriptures. But the reason why the Bible was written in the first place is so that we could come to know the Author. It is my hope that those who read this book will not only enjoy seeing the places where the Lord walked, but also come to know Him in a personal way in their own lives.
