W.P. Nicholson - even today the name brings thrills of joy to the hearts of believers all over the country - and beyond. W.P. Nicholson, or "WP" as he was usually known, was Northern Ireland's most famous and influential evangelist. In the 1920s and 30s wherever he went, wherever he preached, lives, families, and whole communities were transformed. He was, in fact, an ordained minister of the Presbyterian Church. However, while his background, theology and church affiliation may have been completely orthodox, his methods were far from conventional. The stories of his outrageous remarks are legend, and everybody who ever knew him has at least one favourite. But while he may have had a rough exterior he had a soft heart for the sinner - and a stout heart for the Saviour. Across the world tens of thousands were brought into the kingdom through his unique ministry. This DVD includes personal accounts from those who knew him and heard him. Proceeds from the sale of this DVD will go towards the support of the Deborah Home for abused children in Romania.
